Artisan Labs Internal Integrations

This Privacy Policy explains how Artisan Labs ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when authorized Company personnel use Artisan Labs Internal Integrations (the "App"). The App is a set of internal tools that connects QuickBooks Online with Company's other business systems, such as Data Ninja (Company's manufacturing and inventory management system), Google Workspace, and Company email.

1. Information We Access

Through Company's authorized connection to QuickBooks Online (via Intuit's Developer platform), the App may access the QuickBooks Online data that Company authorizes, as needed for Company's internal business processes. This may include:

Vendor, customer, and contact records, including business names, contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses.
Transactions and documents, such as purchase orders, bills, estimates, invoices, sales orders, payments, and their attachments.
Item, product, pricing, and cost records, including purchase history and historical costs.
Accounting data and reports needed for Company's internal operations.
Authentication tokens required to maintain the connection between QuickBooks Online and the App.

The App may also process business correspondence with Company's suppliers and customers, such as purchase order confirmations, order revisions, delivery updates, and follow-ups. It may use the contact information above to send, receive, and record that correspondence.

2. How We Use Information

Information accessed by the App is used solely for Company's own internal business operations, including to:

Create, review, and update purchase orders, vendor records, and other QuickBooks Online records.
Communicate with suppliers and customers about orders, confirmations, revisions, deliveries, and related business matters.
Keep records consistent between QuickBooks Online and Company's other business systems.
Prepare internal reports and analysis, such as purchasing, cost, inventory, and production planning.
Maintain the technical connection and keep logs of the App's activity (e.g., authentication, change history, and error logging).

We do not use this information for advertising or for marketing to third parties, and we do not sell it.

3. How We Share Information

Information accessed by the App moves only between QuickBooks Online and business systems used internally by Artisan Labs. It may also go to the individual suppliers and customers it concerns, as part of normal business correspondence with them. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with other third parties, except: (a) with service providers that host or operate systems the App connects to (e.g., Intuit, as the platform through which QuickBooks Online access is authorized, and Company's email and cloud storage providers), (b) to comply with applicable law, or (c) with the explicit consent of the person or business concerned.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Information handled by the App is stored in QuickBooks Online and in Company's other business systems. It is kept for as long as needed for the related business purpose and in line with Company's standard record-keeping practices. Authentication tokens are stored securely on Company-controlled systems and are used only to maintain the connection between QuickBooks Online and the App.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information accessed by the App from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to the App is limited to authorized Company personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

The App's access to Company's QuickBooks Online data can be revoked at any time through the connected apps settings of the QuickBooks Online account. Revoking access stops the App from accessing new data. It does not remove data already transferred to Company's other systems before access was revoked. Suppliers, customers, and other individuals may contact us at the address below to ask about, correct, or update their contact information.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business use by authorized personnel and is not directed at, nor knowingly used by, children under the age of 16.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as the App is extended to support additional business processes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
